About The Position

Inside the Role Direct efforts for maintenance and improvement of TBB's Material Information and Inventory systems. Direct yearly physical inventory and oversee efforts to ensure inventory accuracy and continuous improvement. Work with Operations colleagues to support changeovers, parts presentation and to find root cause of inventory issues. We Take Care of Our Team What You Drive at DTNA Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to job field as well as basic knowledge of other related work areas Coordinates the resources of team and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives Primarily supervises the work of entry and intermediate level professional individual contributors or large numbers of shop floor employees in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures Responsible for staffing decisions such as hiring, firing, rewarding, training, and developing employees Knowledge You Should Bring Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or requires 5-7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Experience with SAP, AIMS, and Shop Portal Project Management and Material Campaign experience Proficient with Excel/Word/Outlook Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees Exceptional Candidates Might Have 5 years of related experience preferred Purchasing/SAP experience Skilled in root cause analysis preferred Must be able to analyze and solve complex inventory issues, under production conditions preferred Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- High Point, NC US. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or requires 5-7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with SAP, AIMS, and Shop Portal
  • Project Management and Material Campaign experience
  • Proficient with Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of related experience preferred
  • Purchasing/SAP experience
  • Skilled in root cause analysis preferred
