Primary Location: United States (US) - Wisconsin - Horicon Function: Supply Chain Management (CA) Title: Planning Supervisor - 117920 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Planning Supervisor for JD Horicon Works centrally located between Madison and Milwaukee in Horicon, WI, you will: Lead a team of supply management planners supporting Riding Lawn Tractor, Utility Vehicle, and Non-Wheeled Goods production Train and onboard the team, ensuring alignment with Materials Management and Factory processes Collaborate with supply management, order fulfillment, material flow, and operational peers to improve processes and communication throughout the factory Coordinate completion of required tools and processes on a daily basis: critical shortage, hot part requests, premium freight requests, SAP lights, etc, escalating issues as appropriate Monitor, review, and escalate gaps in the performance of suppliers, recommending actions for improvement Monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position

Requirements

  • Experience in Supply Management, Material Flow, or Operations
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of Order Fulfillment processes
  • Experience in planning and organizing
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multiple supply management roles and/or multiple different functions
  • Familiarity with Global Supply Chain SCF tools
  • Data analytics experience
  • Previous leadership experience

Responsibilities
