Your Profile As part of the North America SC Leadership Team, the role will define and execute the Supply Chain strategy from a Planning perspective, being the voice of Planning across the business. Key focus includes working with peers to drive S&OP optimisation and lead the facilitation of S&OP to ensure a “commercial heartbeat” and consensus cross- functionally. Furthermore, this role will influence and manage peers as well as be the voice of S&OP to manage LT expectations. The role will ensure continuous improvement across demand planning, stakeholder management across the MU, Region and Globe, as well as being the main point of contact for North America related Planning topics. Manage 4 direct reports with 5 employees making up the broader team of 10 employees in total.

Requirements

  • University degree
  • 5-10 years of profound experience in Supply Chain in FMCG environment and distribution
  • Experience in Planning
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strategic and ambiguous mindset
  • High degree of Commercial acumen
  • Able to work through a matrix organization
  • An understanding of the Customer landscape
  • Excellent analytical & conceptual skills combined with pragmatism
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Strategy “Planning” Derive, drive and follow-up on a local planning strategy
  • Translate this strategy into an actionable roadmap and ensure timely execution
  • Take over project lead / work package lead in the running overarching business projects (such as task force, x-functional work groups)
  • Ensure planning is smoothly interacting with other Supply Chain, business partners and has a voice to drive Commercial planning as well
  • S&OP Assessment of the S&OP process adherence
  • Ensure this critical business process is lead and steered
  • Leads from the front to facilitate, and become the voice of SC
  • Works with peers to drive consensus and be at the forefront of managing key senior stakeholders
  • Define specific adoption needs and implement together with the regional SC Planning team
  • Global/regional action planning to drive S&OP improvements
  • Operational “Planning” responsibility Full planning KPI responsibility (Service Level, FCA, Bias, DIH, S&OP forecast accuracy)
  • Local contact for any North America related topics for SC Planning to drive efficiencies
  • Development of optimization projects
  • Shape and develop the Planning team to be ready for the future
  • Efficiency Program Ensure and drive optimization of Planning processes and systems
  • Identify clear optimization projects to increase efficiency in the planning and SC organization in North America
