This Position reports to: Procurement Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for this role is: Onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a business environment.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ad hoc, detailed analysis of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on‑time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Strategy & Optimization: Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, semi‑finished, and finished goods in line with company targets while ensuring high customer service and material availability.
  • Planning Process Support & Improvement: Support site supply planning, material planning, and master scheduling processes; identify root causes of non‑performance and lead continuous improvement and inventory optimization initiatives using lean principles.
  • Systems, Tools & Best Practices: Support the implementation of planning technologies, new processes, and tools; establish, standardize, and communicate best practices for operations planning, inventory management, and lean material flow.
  • Reporting & Cross‑Functional Enablement: Compile and share weekly/monthly planning, fulfillment, and inventory performance reports; enable and support local planners and stakeholders through data insights and process guidance.
