This Position reports to: Procurement Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for this role is: Onsite.

Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in a business environment.
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ad hoc, detailed analysis of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on‑time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Inventory Strategy & Optimization: Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, semi‑finished, and finished goods in line with company targets while ensuring high customer service and material availability.
Planning Process Support & Improvement: Support site supply planning, material planning, and master scheduling processes; identify root causes of non‑performance and lead continuous improvement and inventory optimization initiatives using lean principles.
Systems, Tools & Best Practices: Support the implementation of planning technologies, new processes, and tools; establish, standardize, and communicate best practices for operations planning, inventory management, and lean material flow.
Reporting & Cross‑Functional Enablement: Compile and share weekly/monthly planning, fulfillment, and inventory performance reports; enable and support local planners and stakeholders through data insights and process guidance.
