About The Position

This role partners closely with Field Leadership to analyze trends and performance across Top Stores and Special Store initiatives, sharing insights and actions. The Analyst assists in identifying opportunities to adjust replenishment and allocation strategies to drive profitable and balanced inventory across the Gap store fleet. They will work closely with a store planning manager and cross-functional partners in the Field, Store Planning, and Inventory Planning. They contribute insights and learnings to inform store assortment opportunities which align with Gap brand product strategies and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Store Planning teams on fleet-level assessments and support aligned discussions with District and Regional leadership.
  • Partner closely with brand-level planners to support consistent strategies and execution across all stores.
  • Assist with weekly “Must Win” analyses to identify inventory and performance opportunities, coordinating next steps with the Inventory Planning (IP) team.
  • Support inventory opportunity analysis and insight sharing across a defined group of stores, starting with a targeted number per brand.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting to track store performance, inventory, and execution of key initiatives
  • Ability to translate data into clear and actionable insights
  • Conduct KPI analysis to identify improvement opportunities (e.g., conversion or traffic-driving initiatives).
  • Coordinate store-level insights and field feedback across HQ partners, including inventory and planning teams.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Planning to support inventory push/pull decisions, DC inventory utilization, and cross-channel movements.
  • Participate in local store visits and occasional quarterly travel to gain field perspective and operational insights.
