JOB SUMMARY The Planner, Long Term Planning will manage the creation and timely execution of an achievable long-term plan for the internal plant, that meets capacity requirements, while maintaining service & the lowest possible inventory levels. This person will also maintain orders within SAP, in addition to evaluating material availability to support the plan.

Requirements

  • You have a 4-year academic degree in relevant field or related job experience
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply planning role, ideally in a manufacturing or supplier environment in the consumer goods industry.
  • You are a competent user of computerized IT systems – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • You have 1-2 years of experience working within an ERP/MRP environment
  • End to End Supply Chain Functions and Linkage
  • Production life cycle management
  • You have knowledge of TQM methodology, their application and their use towards continuous improvements.
  • You are a strong communicator with organizational & problem-solving skills, that pays attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for long-term planning (12+wks) of core & launch finished goods (FG)
  • You will maintain the plan via the IBP & SAP Planning modules
  • You will analyze the required production plan and partner with key stakeholders to confirm material availability
  • You will work with Launch Planning to establish the supply plan for launches/new innovation
  • You will plan FG operations per the designated work centers to achieve optimal equipment output
  • You will validate Long Term plan with production team, make necessary adjustments, and obtain commitment with consideration of the inventory policy and strategy
  • You will review long term execution progress, expedite, and reprioritize as necessary
  • You will report plan status to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) team
