About The Position

Matrix Basement Finishing is a leading Midwest remodeling company specializing in transforming basements into high-quality, functional living spaces. We are committed to craftsmanship, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from contract to completion. As we continue to grow in the Madison market, we are seeking a Plan Review Specialist who combines strong construction knowledge with a customer-first mindset. At Matrix, we don’t just build basements — we build systems, teams, and careers. This role is mission-critical to delivering operational excellence and protecting the customer experience. If you understand construction deeply and can communicate confidently with homeowners, this is a high-impact opportunity in a growing market. The Plan Review Specialist plays a critical role between Sales, Design, Production, and the Customer. This position ensures all contracted basement projects are technically sound, code-compliant, build-ready, and aligned with customer expectations before entering production. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction knowledge, understands residential building codes, and can communicate clearly with homeowners and field teams.
