About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Pit Supervisor is to oversee the dealers and table games in their assigned section. Pit Supervisors ensure that games are running smoothly and properly and that our guests are having a great experience. Pit Supervisors resolve problems in a fair manner and report any issues to the Shift Manager. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This section explains the job and associated tasks, etc. Accurately rate casino players Maintain a constant general awareness of the assigned section. Resolve guest disputes and/or elevate them to the Shift Manager, if necessary. Encourage guests to participate in the PLAZA Rewards program. Alert the Shift Manager of large plays and buy-ins. Open and close games and change cards/dice. Accurately track table bankrolls and verify all table paperwork (markers/fills/credits) Ensure compliance with rules and policies for the dealers in the assigned section. Ensure all gaming transactions are made accurately and watch for any game irregularities. Other related duties as necessary. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent customer service skills. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts. Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms. Ability to exhibit a strong motivational commitment to the organization. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, with intermittent breaks. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment. Must be able to tolerate secondhand smoke. Must be able to quickly and respectfully give clear directions. Must be able to quickly and accurately understand and follow directions. Requirements

Able to compute table games payouts and perform moderately complex math skills.
Full Knowledge of Title 31.
Full Knowledge of Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette, including proper procedure and game protection.
One year of table games experience, including six months of Table Games supervisory experience.
Must have familiarity with using a personal computer.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Excellent customer service skills.
