Position Overview We are growing and looking to add a Pipeline Manager –Operations to our U.S. based Operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing the project intake, preparation, and automation execution of projects containing Data Extraction requirements for our customers. The Pipeline Manager oversees the upcoming projects and translates the “what” question into the “how” answer. This includes partnering with R&D for setup of our Automated DI extraction pipelines and managing and driving automation and standardization of workflows and deliveries within projects. The Pipeline Manager will work side by side with global cross functional teams beginning with the RFP/Lead to Order process to prepare for successful and predictable execution and delivery of all assigned projects. The Pipeline Manager provides tracking and predictive metrics regarding performance of our Automated DI pipelines. This role assists in the development of the project scope and execution on the project post signature. They collaborate with our internal teams to ensure that the delivery conforms to Operational standards for development, automation and execution. The successful applicant must be able to work efficiently with technical teams, Sales and Finance, be a skilled communicator, and be adept at influencing without authority. This position is based in our Middleton, WI office and is expected to work in office at least 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, GIS or IT.
  • Project Management certification such as CAPM, PMP, or Prince2 is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Proficient in utilizing Jira and MS Planner for project management
  • Prior experience with GIS software is desired.
  • Ability to be dynamic and problem solve when internal or external issues arise.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Funneling upcoming projects into the automation pipelines.
  • Translate functional requirements into clear technical features to be delivered.
  • Management of Machine Learning (ML) Operations Team
  • Enforce standardization of the features delivered in projects
  • Define, drive and oversee automation of our pipelines, reducing manual tasks.
  • Meet and collaborate with teammates to assess requirements/procedures, direct, and coordinate setup of projects.
  • Collaborate with our Sales team during the Sales process and Deal Desk ensuring a smooth transition into the project execution phase.
  • Understands customer requirements and effectively communicates all relevant information to other internal teammates.
  • Request and track any R&D work required to complete the project pipeline
  • Post execution analysis of software and ML Model performance
  • Post execution analysis of pipeline costs to direct resources for future improvements.
