About The Position

This is a temporary full-time position we are hiring for and may be subject to becoming regular full-time depending on workload. Estimated temporary end date: April 15th, 2026 Essential Duties and Responsibilities (following are accountabilities included but not limited to): Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in welding, fabrication and assembly projects. Welds piping spools in accordance with ASME B31.3, B31.8. Operates a variety of hand and power tools. Maintains a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Will bring problems to the attention of the Foreman/Shop Superintendent or HSSE Manager. Other duties assigned to meet the needs of the business. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in fabrication and assembly of gas processing plants. Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety procedures. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Ability to use an overhead crane to accomplish work. Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Ability to weld piping and assemble the following welding procedure specifications. Ability to pass ASME Section IX welding test using GMAW, SMAW and GTAW or any combination required. Ability to produce finished welds that meet the standards of the applicable Code of Construction and maintain a radiographic acceptance rate determined by Veritas Gas Processing to be acceptable for the piping system, job and environmental conditions. Possesses a willingness to provide in-situ instruction to assigned Helper. Education, Training and Experience: Any experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work. Work Context: Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and other particles. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. Noise level is generally loud. Must be able to quickly move arms and legs. Excellent stamina is required. Must be able to work in elevated areas.
