Requirements

Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the process of installing mechanical equipment / systems associated with water/ wastewater treatment plants.
Must be able to read and interpret plans.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.

Responsibilities

Measure and mark installation areas according to conformed drawings.
Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
Install all required lubricants, seals, gaskets, etc. for proper equipment operation.
Secure equipment and piping to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools or power tools.
