Job SummaryThe Pick Room Associate is a key member of the warehouse team, responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and packing customer orders. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled efficiently, accurately, and on time, while maintaining inventory accuracy, a safe work environment, and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse setting. A Typical Day at McDaniel You’ll review the day’s orders, locate items using company tools, pick and verify products, pack and stage completed orders, update the system as needed, and help keep the pick room clean, organized, and running smoothly. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems or handheld devices

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse or picking experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, verify, pack, and prepare customer orders
  • Use handheld scanners or pick lists to locate and track products
  • Inspect items for quality and accuracy
  • Label and stage orders for shipment
  • Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Support warehouse tasks and work closely with team members to meet daily goals
