As the Pi Historian and Integration Technical Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless connectivity and data management within FMC’s Aveeva Pi Historian, PAS|X integrations, and Operations Data Hub. This pivotal role involves overseeing system ownership, driving change management, and providing expert guidance on best practices for historian and integration processes. Your leadership will be crucial in aligning data frameworks and supporting ongoing revisions to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Lead the team in identifying technical solutions from business requirements for PAS|X, SIMCA, and Tulip integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet project timelines and company goals.
  • Align technical solutions across IT, Facilities, PAS|X, Automation, external vendors, and interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with operations best practices and GxP requirements.
  • Provide training and hands-on experience for IT and Site resources with the Historian application.
  • Prototype technical approaches and oversee validation of technical solutions.
  • Establish best practices for knowledge and lifecycle management of Pi Historian and ODH.
  • Track and complete documentation related to technical work.
  • Manage frequent changes in scope, timeline, and priority.
  • Make informed decisions using technical knowledge.
  • Meet project goals within time and budget constraints.
  • Recommend technologies for company pursuit.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Work independently and within team environments with strong communication abilities.
  • Display eagerness to learn new tools, software, and technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Over 5 years of work experience in integration and Historian software administration
  • Proficient in biologics manufacturing use of Historian and integration into PAS|X and ODH (or similar)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
  • 7+ years of experience in the automation or applied engineering field
  • The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $129,516.80 to $194,275.20
  • Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
  • Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
