Sanford Worthington Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon. At the center of Sanford’s rural footprint in southwest Minnesota. Job Description Orthopedic Surgery Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care and perform orthopedic surgical procedures for patients of all ages - except where specifically excluded from practice.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successful completion of a hospital affiliated orthopedic surgical residency program or a clinical Fellowship of at least five years’ duration accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency.
• Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
• For those applicants that are not board certified at the time of application, but who have completed their residency training within the last five years; must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless appropriate governing Board (Refer to each entities policy for grandfather exceptions) waives such requirement.
