About The Position

Physician - Medical Oncologist Froedtert South Medical Group Froedtert South is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist to join our team. The successful candidate will join an established practice of medical oncologists, a radiation oncologist, and advanced practice professionals. We welcome candidates who have experience, expertise, and passion in this area. That said, we are incredibly flexible and welcome the opportunity to meet recently trained fellows. Reasons you should work at Froedtert South: Newly remodeled Cancer Center including physician offices and hospital outpatient services such as lab draw, an infusion center, and radiation oncology treatment rooms, completed in August of 2023, with further expansion forthcoming. Infusion services are connected to an acute care hospital, with emergency response mechanisms providing extra safety for patients and support for practitioners Affiliated with Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network Patients who are receptive and compliant Supportive administrative team to assist in practice growth Collaborative medical staff Opportunity to build off of and grow a practice, in one of the fastest-growing regions in the Midwest Employee Benefits include, but are not limited to: health, dental, and vision, paid time off, malpractice insurance, continuing education reimbursement, dues and subscription reimbursement, short and long term disability, life, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, cell phone reimbursement, and matching 403b retirement plan. Requirements

  • Valid state of Wisconsin medical license
  • Board eligible or board-certified medical oncology by the America Board of Internal Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Fellowship training program in Hematology/Medical Oncology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to keep an open mind
  • Innate curiosity, determination and drive
