About The Position

The Vascular Care Group (TVCG), a dynamic private vascular surgery practice, seeks a highly motivated and results driven Physician Liaison to primarily serve our Massachusetts locations while supporting additional offices in New England. This position is critical in fostering relationships with referring providers, increasing patient referrals, and raising awareness of our high-quality vascular surgery services within the healthcare community. The physician liaison will work closely with physicians, the management team, and the marketing team to achieve growth and outreach objectives. This role will report to the Director of Clinical Operations.This role is expected to travel 4 days a week to offices in the Massachusetts region, with occasional travel to the Portland and Connecticut offices as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in physician relations, healthcare sales, or outreach management.
  • Proven experience in sales execution and customer relationship management
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the Massachusetts healthcare market.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and remote support.
  • Proficient in data analysis to evaluate outreach effectiveness and drive strategy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within Massachusetts for meetings and events, with occasional travel to other New England offices.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with primary care providers, specialists, and other referring entities across New England.
  • Provide onsite support and maintain connections with referral sources in other New England offices through in-person visits and occasional remote communication tools.
  • Act as the primary contact for referring practices, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Lead the coordination and execution of relationship development and referral program development to support volume and revenue targets for The Vascular Care Group and affiliated organizations.
  • Identify and target new referral opportunities, with a focus on high-potential practices and communities, including maintaining a listing of new referral targets for each site.
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach plans tailored to each market while supporting broader regional initiatives remotely.
  • Assist in facilitating and coordinating local networking events, conferences, and healthcare meetings to build visibility and foster partnerships, including representing the practice at important events and providing support for post-event follow-up.
  • Promote new services, technologies, and provider expertise to referring partners.
  • Manage outreach-related communications, including updates and direct correspondence.
