DISC Surgery Center is seeking a Physician Engagement Manager for our HQ location in Newport Beach. This position has a possibility for a hybrid or remote option. QualificationsPhysician Engagement Manager – Roles & Responsibilities Summary Note: All responsibilities listed below have been managed across multiple regions and markets, supporting enterprise-wide physician engagement, growth initiatives, and operational alignment Physician Engagement & Relationship Management Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with referring physicians, surgeons, and key stakeholders across all TriasMD/DISC markets Serve as the primary liaison between TriasMD/DISC and external physician partners, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across regions Identify and cultivate new referral sources, including PCPs, specialists, concierge practices, imaging centers, and PT groups Maintain and expand a referral network database using CRM tools (Monday.com) Conduct regular in-person and virtual outreach across regions to drive engagement and growth Referral Optimization & Network Access Streamline the referral process for external providers by serving as a central access point into the DISC/TriasMD network Ensure referring physicians have immediate and efficient access to appropriate specialists, services, and surgical pathways Reduce friction in referral workflows by coordinating directly with scheduling, intake, and clinical teams to expedite patient access Actively facilitate warm handoffs between referring providers and DISC specialists to improve conversion and continuity of care Provide referring offices with clear guidance, resources, and points of contact to simplify the referral experience Monitor referral flow and address barriers in real time to improve speed-to-consult and overall patient throughput Enhance the overall referral experience to strengthen long-term physician relationships and increase retention Program Development & Operational Initiatives Lead development and expansion of the DISC Express Clinic (rapid-access care model) across multiple locations Track and optimize key performance metrics, including: o Lead-to-consult conversion o Consult-to-case conversion o Revenue per lead and per clinic Collaborate with operations and clinical teams across regions to improve workflows and patient access Support implementation of scalable care models aligned with enterprise growth strategy Marketing & Brand Alignment Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop physician-facing materials across all regions, including: o Physician directories and booklets o Rack cards, brochures, and digital assets o Website physician profiles and bios Support announcements and new location launch system-wide Event Planning & Execution (Regional & Enterprise Events) Plan and execute physician engagement events across all regions, including: o Networking mixers and grand openings o Educational seminars and workshops o Physician lunch meetings and dinner events o Cadaver labs and clinical demonstrations Manage event logistics including venue coordination, vendor management, guest lists, sponsorships, and budgets Drive attendance and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI and strengthen referral relationship. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with leadership, operations, marketing, and clinical teams to align on strategic initiatives across all locations Coordinate with scheduling, intake, and patient access teams to ensure a seamless referral experience across regions Partner with external vendors, device representatives, and community organizations Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and physician interactions across all markets Develop structured processes for outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management Assist with partnership coordination and program implementation as needed
