Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active New York State PA License (Required).
  • Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
  • Open to New Graduates.
  • Must be Bilingual in Mandarin (Required).
  • Proficiency in comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation.
  • Comfortable providing care in home settings.
  • Highly independent, excellent communication skills (particularly with Mandarin-speaking patients), compassionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations in patients' homes.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the PA scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease management.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
