Temple’s Emergency Department is searching for an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the team! This role falls under the Temple Physicians Inc division. Hours \: Sunday-Wednesday, 9pm – 6am | 36 hours a week Location\: Temple Main with a possible rotation to Episcopal, Jeanes Campus Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, delivers comprehensive medical care and care coordination across clinical specialties in collaboration with licensed physicians and healthcare teams. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medical therapeutics, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, assisting in surgical procedures, and counseling patients on preventive care. The APP contributes to a safe, therapeutic, and inclusive environment that prioritizes patient-centered care, respecting each individual's age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree ": in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing . (Required)
  • Masters Degree ": in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree (Required)
  • Other ": Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. (Required)
  • CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required) or NCCPA - Certified Physician Assistant (Required)
  • RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) or MPA-LIC - PA Medical Physician Asst Lic (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred)
  • 4 years’ experience as a physician assistant (Preferred)
  • 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred)
  • 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience (Preferred)
  • Experience in an EPIC environment (Preferred)
