Requirements

EXPERIENCE
Required: 2 years total work experience in area of profession.
Appropriate degree and professional credentials including PT, OT, COTA, LPTA, SLP
EDUCATION
Required - Graduation from accredited school of profession.
Possession of valid license or certification to practice in Virginia.

Nice To Haves

Preferred: 1 year supervisory experience in healthcare
Preferred- Advanced education/training in management.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and integrates services within their department and with other departments.
Responsible for management of the clinical service's daily operations.
Will provide clinical services to patients as needed.
Assists with establishing and enforcing department policies and procedures.
Maintains knowledge base and educates staff on TJC and other accrediting organizations as appropriate.
Responsible for program development including establishment, implementation and assessment of strategic plan.
Accountable for all phases of staff development including recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision, competency and professional growth.
Develops and implements marketing plan to internal and external referral sources.
Establishes and monitors the clinical service's budgetary needs.
Reviews productivity plus at a frequency to allow timely staffing decisions.
Is a mentor to staff on clinical issues and serves as a positive example to employees and patients.
