About The Position
MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine team. With four state-of-the-art clinic locations across Nashville, Green Hills, Brentwood, and Franklin, MPOWER offers an energetic environment, collaborative culture, and a motivated patient population. As a Physical Therapy Assistant at MPOWER, you’ll work closely with Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. You’ll also collaborate with personal trainers, massage therapists, and nutrition specialists to support a comprehensive, integrated care model.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Tennessee PTA license
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic MS Office applications
- Strong understanding of therapy documentation and payer requirements
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality across all patient and employee interactions
- Neat, professional appearance and excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply)
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, manual techniques (as appropriate), and modalities
- Support accurate and timely documentation within our EMR system
- Provide patient education and home exercise instruction using clinic-approved software
- Help maintain a productive caseload aligned with company standards
- Collaborate with Therapy Technicians to ensure smooth clinic flow
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings and training sessions
- Maintain a consistent clinic schedule and uphold MPOWER’s standards of care
- Assist the Clinic Manager with projects or tasks as needed
