Join Our Family-Oriented Team Family Tree Rehabilitation, part of The Campus of Anna Maria, is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy department. Located on a serene wooded campus in Ohio, we are a family-owned and operated skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional, resident-centered rehabilitation services in a warm and supportive environment. Position Summary Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Requirements
- Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
- Monitor and document resident progress and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote safety, dignity, and individualized resident care
- Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
