Physical Therapy Assistant / Physical Therapy / Full Time days Provides personal care and professional excellence by assisting in the physical therapy patient care program under the direction of the Physical Therapist.

Requirements

  • Graduation from approved curriculum and licensing as required by state of Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates appropriate skills required to treat patients of all ages.
  • Implements patient’s Plan of Care; adjusts treatment appropriately; keeps the physical therapist informed.
  • Consistently performs all or part of objective measurements such as ROM, MMT, special tests per goals established in the POC.
  • Writes accurate and timely progress notes.
  • Consistently ensures that all charges are recorded promptly and accurately.
  • Develops HEP; instructs the patient and/or family appropriately.
  • Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship/rapport with the patient.
  • Other duties as assigned
