About The Position

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis for a Home Health Agency located in Twinsburg. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Valid certification or license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and equipment used in physical therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and their families on the treatment plan and exercises
• Monitor and document patient progress and report back to the Physical Therapist
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in healthcare practice
