About The Position
Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. The Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. Requirements
- One (1) year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Therapy curriculum with a Bachelors or Masters or Doctoral degree with certification in physical therapy.
- Current California Physical Therapist License OR Physical Therapist License - Applicant (California).
- If CA PT License Applicant (PTLA) Letter recipient: licensing exam must be passed within (120) days from letter date.
- BLS (CPR) certification.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of physical therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
