About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a permanent Acute Inpatient Rehab opportunity in Fort Pierce, Florida. The Physical Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive outcomes across the continuum of care.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license for the position being applied for.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Ability to work effectively in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and deliver treatment interventions within scope of practice and professional standards.
• Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care aligned with physician treatment plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, exercises, and assistive devices.
• Support continuity of care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Prioritize caseloads and coordinate assignments and handoffs to ensure efficient care delivery.
