Job Description General Summary Demonstrates expert-level clinical skills in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized Physical Therapy treatment plans. Provides leadership in clinical practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and education. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Interprets complex provider referrals, evaluates patients, identifies functional limitations, and formulates individualized treatment plans with regular assessment of progress. Ensures compliance with system-wide, local, state, and federal regulatory requirements by applying relevant standards and best practices. Educates patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and strategies for home management. Leads collaboration with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care. Leads departmental meetings and demonstrates leadership during service line rounds, journal clubs, and discharge planning, as needed. Serves as a preceptor and mentor to new team members. Supports educational initiatives within the enterprise, department, and student programming, including but not limited to training opportunities, presentations, student project development, and serving as a secondary Clinical Educator in the absence of the primary Clinical Educator.
