About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY As a Physical Therapist, you will complete comprehensive patient assessments, develop a patient-centered plan of care and implement best practice physical therapy interventions to help patients achieve their highest desired state of health and well-being.

Requirements

Master's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Physical Therapist, by the Board of Medical Examiners, State of California.
Current Healthcare Worker Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge and application of Physical Therapy professional practice, code of ethics and regulatory requirements.
Competent working knowledge of standard practice procedures and equipment used in delivering physical therapy in the inpatient and/or outpatient environment.
Knowledge of and ability to follow infection control procedures in patient care settings.
Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize patient care needs.
Communicate clearly and professionally with physicians and work cooperatively with a diverse healthcare team.
Commitment to providing compassionate care and advocacy for patients' functional independence and well-being.
Ability to adapt quickly to the changing needs in healthcare, promote continuous improvement and speak up when patient safety is at risk.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinical documentation systems.
