Physiatrist Contractor
About The Position
Concentra, a large healthcare company, is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract role is designed to complement an existing private practice, typically involving a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and facilitate functional restoration. The specialist will collaborate with medical and therapy providers, providing services such as EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Additionally, the role involves communicating with employers and actively participating in case management, aiming to significantly improve the lives of patients.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site

- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
Responsibilities
- Treat patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis
