About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Photo and Video Editor to support a range of client projects, including product promotions, social media content, marketing campaigns, and internal communications with background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality photos and short-to-long form video content, ensuring brand consistency, optimising assets for multiple platforms, and collaborating closely with creative and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in photo and video editing.
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom; DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro knowledge is a plus
  • Strong understanding of colour grading, composition, pacing and audio post-production
  • Portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of projects and technical skills (required)
  • Good communication skills in English and ability to interpret creative briefs
  • Reliable home office setup with stable internet connection; access to necessary editing hardware and software
  • Ability to work US business hours

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social-first editing
  • Familiarity with audio editing tools (Adobe Audition, Audacity)
  • Experience with asset management systems and cloud collaboration tools (Frame.io, Dropbox, Google Drive)

Responsibilities

  • Edit and colour-correct still images
  • Edit video content including short-form social clips (15–60s), long-form videos (up to 10+ minutes), product demos, and promotional pieces
  • Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds and simple visual effects to enhance storytelling
  • Trim, sequence and assemble footage; add music, sound design and clean audio mixing
  • Optimise deliverables for various platforms and required codecs/resolutions
  • Maintain organised project files, version control and proper archiving of source assets
  • Collaborate with content producers, designers and marketing leads to ensure creative briefs and brand guidelines are met
  • Deliver work to deadline while managing multiple projects and feedback rounds
  • Produce high-quality, brand-aligned visual assets on time
  • Respond professionally to feedback and iterate quickly
  • Maintain confidentiality of client materials and adhere to usage rights
  • Organise assets and maintain clear documentation of project versions
