Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or food items safely.

  • Experience specifically in in-room dining or room service roles.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems or point-of-sale (POS) technology.
  • Certification in food handling or hospitality service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take in-room dining orders accurately, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
  • Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly while maintaining proper presentation and temperature standards.
  • Set up in-room dining trays or tables according to hotel standards, ensuring cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests professionally, resolving any issues or escalating them to management as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and hotel policies to provide accurate information and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and room service teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest well-being and compliance with regulations.
