About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to support patient care through accurate specimen collection and handling. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital, laboratory, or blood bank settings and demonstrate strong attention to detail and patient care standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (hospital, lab, or blood bank)
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) required
• AHA BLS certification required
• High School Diploma or GED with completion of a phlebotomy program
• Ability to work day shifts, including rotating weekends
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and collect blood specimens
• Accurately label, process, and handle laboratory samples
• Maintain patient records and documentation
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
