About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. This role involves supervising nursing assistants and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in compliance with established healthcare standards and regulations.

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in Massachusetts
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
Ability to work flexible shifts

Nice To Haves

Prior Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report any changes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and records
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and tube feeding
Collect and handle specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for testing
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
