About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technician) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, produce high-quality images, and maintain compliance with clinical and safety standards.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience preferred (recent experience a plus)
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT) required
• ARRT certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain high standards of safety and quality
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Adjust equipment settings as needed for optimal imaging results
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Document patient procedures and maintain accurate records
• Maintain radiology equipment and monitor supply inventory
• Participate in ongoing education and competency requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
