This full-time, benefit-eligible Phlebotomist position is located at 8255 East Main Street, Marshall VA, with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and 1-2 Saturdays per quarter. The role involves providing exceptional patient care, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, and handling non-blood specimens. Employees in this role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all applicable privacy and security standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous phlebotomy training or experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
  • Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
  • Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
  • Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
  • Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
