Update the patient census using Omnicell pharmacy inventory automation systems. Assist with the training of students, interns, and new technicians. Many of our pharmacy techs go on to become licensed pharmacists within our hospital. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- PTCB Certification or NHA Certification
- New York State Pharmacy Technician License
- all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Nice To Haves
- Experience utilizing Omnicell pharmacy inventory automation systems.
- 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment
- IV experience ideal
