About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor provides direct oversight and coordination of pharmacy technicians supporting inpatient pharmacy services. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant medication preparation and distribution while supporting staffing, workflow optimization, regulatory readiness, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The supervisor serves as a key liaison between pharmacy leadership and frontline technicians, promoting accountability, professionalism, and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED- required
  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure in the state of practice- required
  • National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT)- required within 1 year of hire
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience- required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead technician or supervisory experience or college degree- preferred
