WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Pharmacy Supervisor (Harrisburg, PA) The Pharmacy Supervisor will guide day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The supervisor will be responsible for a group of Pharmacy Technicians; reviewing and monitoring performance to optimize outputs, ensuring we are working towards a common goal and remaining productive. The supervisor will work on or direct projects of Pharmacy Technicians as assigned by the Pharmacists & Workflow Manager. The supervisor may assist with review of associates and be involved with hiring and team development with guidance from the manager. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Harrisburg, PA. This position requires 40 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday-Friday between our operating hours of 6:30 am and 4:30 pm ET with a rotating Saturday from 7:00 am-3:30 pm ET.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of pharmacy, including positioning team members to ensure steady output and ensuring team members execute assigned tasks
  • Assist with technician training, scheduling, and timecard approvals
  • Assist technicians with workflow dynamics and daily order dispensing
  • Work closely with pharmacy leads to ensure team unity
  • Expect to spend 50% of time participating in pharmacy workflow duties (subject to change based on the needs of the department)
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing organization standards and adhering to regulations
  • Provide work direction and lead daily operations of Technician direct reports:
  • Develop team talent; create and implement written plans for optimizing team member performance
  • Assist Pharmacists & Workflow Manager with hiring, leading, coaching, mentoring, motivating, resolving associate disputes, and retaining staff
  • Identify training needs and conduct performance management activities for associates including disciplinary action
