Operations and Logistics Optimization comprises six communities working together to align inventory and data management, operational procedures, and key performance indicators, and to deliver a cost-effective, highly-efficient managed distributor model. By combining a culture of hospitality with leading operations and logistics processes and controls, these communities of skilled associates ensure resource and supply management runs silently in the background and operates in service of physicians, clinicians, leadership, and associates. Requirements

  • Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
  • 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • 3+ years of professional healthcare experience demonstrating:
  • Pharmacy clinical and operations
  • Professional working proficiency of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes and directs activities related to pharmaceutical supply chain optimization within participant pharmacies, including solutioning, clinical utilization assessment, financial analysis, project management, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics to provide strategic data driven recommendations
  • Serves as the primary liaison and strategic partner to pharmacy, supply chain and executive leadership overseeing solution design, onboarding, long-term program support, providing clinical and operational expertise, and providing both written and oral reports
  • Oversees compliance and risk management related to pharmaceutical purchasing, shortages, and recalls, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and patient safety requirements.
  • Guides improvement initiatives for overall pharmacy solution and contracting through integration of end-user feedback and identification and implementation of innovative value based solutions
  • Works with pharmaceutical distributor leaders to develop corrective action plans. Reviews and approves distributor corrective action plans to achieve superior operations performance. Leverages findings from distributor assessments for internal improvement.
