The position is responsible for supporting the implementation of Ovation services, service optimization and client support for assigned Ovation pharmacy client sites. Specifically, this role will provide key support for pharmacy onboarding/optimization processes including data analysis, vendor alignment and required documentation processing. Specifically, activities include reviewing and optimizing pharmacy associated expenditure by identifying contract, operational, or clinical opportunities, and development of implementation strategies for both GPO and Ovation agreements. This position is responsible for building strategic alliances with key stakeholders as it relates to a successful pharmacy expense management program and overall pharmacy oversight. This role will demonstrate a strong understanding of the pharmacy’s role and maintains current competencies and education to remain up to date with contemporary pharmacy practice.
