Participate in orientation, certification, on-line training, and continued training ensuring you have the opportunity to be successful. Participate in setting and achieving goals to further your skills and engagement at time of your Evaluation. Create a friendly environment by greeting guests at the drop off counter. Be responsible to answer the pharmacy telephone for all incoming calls, in a friendly professional manner Receive patient information such as birth date, known allergies, insurance, insurance changes, coupons and or secondary billing, etc. Set a priority of when prescriptions need to be finished. Responsible to receive inbound electronic, faxed, and drop-off new or refill prescriptions. Know origin code of prescription whether it be phoned in, faxed in, electronically received or handwritten. Electronically send prescription information to filling station technician. Check adjudication errors and correct them. If there is a DUR (Drug Utilization Review) please inform the Pharmacist on duty. You will also be expected to maintain essential house cleaning such as keeping cabinets, shelves, floor, and restrooms. Reduce shrink by watching for shoplifting by team members or guests, taking care to not damage product, always have a receipt attached to your personal purchases, and take only the allotted amount of time for your breaks. Make accurate count of product using counting tray with spatula or scales. When needed tend to drive up window. Be responsible to keep work space clean by promptly returning drugs to correct inventory location. Be responsible for accurate reordering of inventory as needed. Retrieve prescription and correctly process it through the system. Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, interpret and apply common sense understanding to instructions, policies and procedures either written or oral.
  • Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with guests and team members.
  • Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success.
  • Must have ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission driven, and be self-directed with a shared passion for Broulim’s Mission.
  • Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or related job experience and / or training are required.
  • Certificates / Licenses: PTCB certification needed in order to be a certified technician.
  • Minimum Age:18
  • Experience: None required previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Computer: Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Basic math skills required: Basic math skills required.
