Monitor centralized and decentralized pharmacy inventory levels Order pharmaceuticals through internal purchasing systems and prepare purchase orders Verify packing slips and invoices for accuracy against received medications Ensure all purchasing documentation is processed accurately through Accounts Payable Maintain sterile compounding competency per pharmacy standards Communicate clearly and professionally with pharmacy staff, vendors, and leadership Provide accurate and timely written and electronic documentation in accordance with policies Proactively identify and resolve inventory or purchasing issues Demonstrate consistent professionalism and adherence to pharmacy practice standards High School Diploma or GED (required) Pharmacy Technician education (preferred) Previous pharmacy technician experience (required) Registered Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technician (required) National pharmacy technician certification (preferred) Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong math and attention-to-detail skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift pharmacy supplies as required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Frequent concentration on detail and sustained attention Potential exposure to hazardous drugs, chemicals, blood/body fluids, and other pharmacy-related risks Collaborative pharmacy team environment Opportunity to play a key role in medication supply and patient safety Stable, non-exempt position within a healthcare setting Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
