The Pharmacist Resident at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network in Beverly Hills, California is designed to provide the resident with one year of advanced ambulatory care practice experience. The program will provide training in ambulatory pharmaceutical care, primary care, and managed care. The resident will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals (physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants) to perform medication therapy management, patient education, disease-specific physical assessments, monitoring and follow up, provide treatment recommendations to other healthcare providers, and respond to drug information requests.
