We currently have a role available for an Pharma Bioconjugation Scientist. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Prepare, purify, and characterize high-quality antibody conjugates (e.g., ADCs, ARCs, DACs) with a high degree of independence to support discovery and development programs. Experience with ADC characterization methods, including UV-Vis, SEC, HIC, RP, IEX, cIEF, and LC-MS preferred. Hands-on experience with protein purification systems; proficiency with AKTA FPLCs preferred. Implement state-of-the-art bioconjugation technologies (cysteine, lysine, site-specific, and other approaches) and apply bioorthogonal chemistries to generate bioconjugates. Develop purification strategies (up to 100 mg) using affinity, ion-exchange, hydrophobic interaction, size exclusion, and tangential flow filtration. Maintain thorough documentation of experimental procedures in an electronic notebook and prepare reports and technical documents as needed. Present periodic updates and findings to project teams and management.

Requirements

MS in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline with 5+ years of independent, lab-based research experience required.
Ph.D. with 0-1 year of relevant post-doc/industry experience may also be considered.
Thorough understanding of the theory of above-mentioned techniques.
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Works well both within a team and as an individual.
Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

Nice To Haves
