About The Position

As a Personnel Security Specialist (Mid-Level), you will play a key role in supporting national security by conducting personnel security investigations, analyzing information, and identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required (or Associate’s degree with nine (9) years of relevant experience)
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field
Experience interpreting governmental and commercial database checks to identify areas of concern during the investigative process
Experience analyzing investigative reports and related sources of information to identify security vulnerabilities, develop investigative leads, and recommend eligibility determinations based on appropriate adjudicative standards
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
Applies AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve outcomes
Understands the strengths and limitations of AI systems and exercises sound judgment in their use
Continuously explores new AI capabilities and integrates them into day-to-day work where appropriate
Uses AI in alignment with company and customer-specific policies, data privacy standards, and ethical guidelines
Exercises discretion when using AI with sensitive or proprietary information
Demonstrates awareness of bias, accuracy, and risk considerations when leveraging AI tools

Responsibilities

Conduct personnel security investigations
Interpret governmental and commercial database checks to identify areas of concern
Analyze investigative reports and supporting documentation to identify security vulnerabilities
Develop investigative leads and follow-up actions as needed
Provide recommendations regarding approval, denial, or revocation of eligibility for access to national security information in accordance with applicable adjudicative standards
