Mid-Level Security Design Specialist Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Security Design Specialist to join the team in Kent, WA; Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; El Segundo, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Englewood, CO; Ridley Park, PA; North Charleston, SC; Plano, TX; Dallas, TX; or Arlington, VA. The Boeing Enterprise Security Team is searching for a talented and high performing Directory Specialist to join a team of senior technical experts that provide architecture, guidance and consultation to Boeing customers throughout the enterprise. The successful candidate will work as a member of the team with enterprise-wide responsibilities for development and support of the Boeing Enterprise Directory Services. A positive attitude and self-motivated approach are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support a global team. Position Responsibilities: Participate in design, implementation, operation, enhancement and maintenance of enterprise Ping Directory-based infrastructure services Provide enterprise level technical support and consultation for the implementation, operations, and usage of directory services Develop, maintain, and document code to identity data synchronization and publishing

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with development and administration in Linux systems in virtualized environments (OracleOS and/or RHEL)
  • 3+ years of experience with standardized Network Protocols and Services (i.e. TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience designing architecture with industry standard security technologies and solutions (e.g. encryption (PGP), certificates (x509), MFA/2FA, and SAML/SSO/IDaaS.)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with vendor and/or Information Technology (IT) Security certifications
  • Experience with Java/Practical Extraction and Report Language (PERL)/Python programming
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools for workflow optimization (e.g., Python, Bourne-Again Shell (BASH))
  • Experience with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures
  • Experience with Development Operations/Development, Security, and Operations (DevOps/DevSecOps)
  • Experience collaborating with team members while also working independently
  • Experience with troubleshooting

Responsibilities
