About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Fort Gratiot, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
- Must pass background checks and comply with all company requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety
- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as state regulations
