About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and cultivating strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry
• In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products (e.g., auto, home, umbrella)
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage limits, and underwriting guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in utilizing insurance agency management systems and MS Office suite
• A valid P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
• Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms on behalf of clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, policy documentation, and correspondence
• Stay informed about industry trends, changes in insurance regulations, and market conditions to better serve clients
• Assist in the development and implementation of client retention strategies and cross-selling opportunities
• Foster strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members to ensure a seamless and positive client experience
