About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and dynamic Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to managing the complete service cycle for personal insurance clients, including new business, renewals, and mid-term changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal insurance products, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Extensive knowledge of personal insurance products (home, auto, umbrella, collections, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with personal lines insurance.
  • Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems (e.g., Applied Epic).
  • Understanding of agency workflows and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal lines accounts throughout the entire policy lifecycle, including new business, renewals, and mid-term changes.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing clients while supporting growth through inside/outside referrals.
  • Assist with coverage placement, risk evaluation, and recommending updates based on client needs.
  • Prepare and process policy documents, including binders, ID cards, EOPs, and insurance summaries.
  • Handle client billing needs, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Answer incoming calls, greet walk-ins, and provide general support in a client-facing capacity.
  • Participate in client and carrier meetings as needed.
