About The Position

A growing White Plains Plaintiff's law firm seeks a highly experienced paralegal to assist attorneys with complex Personal Injury and Catastrophic Claims. MUST have a proven record assisting attorneys with all phases of case management, from initial intake to trial tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in Personal Injury case management
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with others, both internally and externally
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Able to work as a team member
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent computer skills
• Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
• MUST have a proven record assisting attorneys with all phases of case management, from initial intake to trial tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors' degree preferred
• Experience with case management software a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Update clients with case status
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents
• Obtain, organize, and analyze case-related documents and records
• Identify and coordinate expert witnesses
• Prepare cases for trial, including compiling a trial notebook and coordinating witnesses
• Assist attorneys during trial
• Maintain all information regarding client matters in the case management database
